CNN —When Japanese astronaut Kimiya Yui heads to the International Space Station (ISS) next year, he will have two new skincare items in his bag that are especially designed for the rigors of space travel. The face wash and lotion are part of a “Cosmology” line unveiled on Monday by Japanese cosmetic company POLA and ANA Holdings, the parent company of All Nippon Airways. The products were created after the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) called for skincare solutions that could be used in the resource-scarce, low-gravity and extremely dry conditions of outer space. The products are not the first cosmetics to head to outer space. Japanese astronaut Kimiya Yui will bring the Cosmology skincare products to the International Space Station in 2024.

The group asks companies to reflect the Black community that makes up 15% of the U.S. population by dedicating 15% of their shelf space to Black-owned brands. Prior to taking the pledge, many of the group's current partners had less than 3% of their shelf space dedicated to Black-owned brands. Now all partners are committed to attaining their 15% pledge over a 10-year contract. Fifteen Percent Pledge has committed to generating $1.4 trillion in wealth for Black entrepreneurs by 2030.

People aren't wearing bras anymore, according to American Eagle's executive creative director. As a result, American Eagle and its Aerie brand are refocusing their assortment. At least, that's what execs at American Eagle say. "Girls are wearing bra tops out," Jennifer Foyle, president and executive creative director of American Eagle and its sister brand Aerie, told investors at the company's earnings call Wednesday. Aerie, which has nearly 300 standalone stores, made up around a third of American Eagle Outfitters' sales in the first quarter.
